The Porirua RSA Pool Section consists of members who just enjoy a good game of pool and those who enjoy the social aspect of playing home and/or away events. We also have some serious events for those who prefer a more competitive edge to their game.

We currently compete in the Greater Wellington pool competition, the annual Speights tournament which we have at times hosted. We also play regular reciprocal games against the Titahi Bay RSA. We welcome enquiries from other clubs. Throughout the year we play numerous in-house competitions such as the Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s and Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

There are also memorial trophies contested such as the Frank Crane Trophy and the Roy Holland trophy which also includes Darts and Indoor Bowls and teams consist of three players. These are all played under the Chartered Club rules which our members recently elected to adopt.

The Wine Club meets every third Friday of the month.

Enjoy fine wine and food in a relaxed friendly environment with fellow wine enthusiasts. Indulge in your preferred drop or try something new and learn some expert facts from visiting wine representatives.
