About Us

The Porirua RSA has been established for just over 50 years and was formed to assist returned service personnel and their families with welfare and recreational needs.

As the years have progressed the club has opened its arms and embraced all members of the community and we continue to welcome new members to join our iconic institution.

There are over 850 members in our RSA and our core business is looking after our senior members. We embrace the RSA motto of people looking after people. Junior membership starts at 13 yrs of age and senior membership from age 18 years.

We are a family friendly club and children are welcome to stay until 7pm, unless in the restaurant. There are multiple sections within the RSA such as Darts, Indoor Bowls, Fishing, Pool, Wine and Friendship clubs, as well as the Welfare section supported by the Women's section.

We are a licensed premises with a full service Bar, TAB, Gaming Machines, SKY TV, Restaurant, and also have a variety of entertainment evenings. Through various funding initiatives we are pleased to be able to support local community groups.
